Let’s preserve the legacy of Camp Veselka!

Our parents and grandparents knew that it takes a village or “село” to raise a child. They bought a parcel of farmland and transformed it into our beloved Veselka. Because of their foresight and hard work, thousands of children have benefitted from attending camps at Veselka, as has our community.

The legacy of Veselka has now passed down to us. We need to repair and modernize aging amenities to safeguard the camp for future generations. For the last two years, we’ve been working on the pool, pool house and chapel. Pool cracks and plumbing have been repaired, new decking poured, and the chapel boasts a beautiful new cedar roof. In early 2021, we’ll complete these projects by:
• Swimming pool: Apply epoxy and reinstall equipment and accessories,
• Pool house: Install new roof, windows and doors, upgrade change rooms and showers,
• Saints Volodymyr and Olga Chapel: Replace flooring and cross and other minor repairs.

To date, donors, like you, have helped us raise over $820,000. But we still need $80,000 to reach our goal. Donors contributing $1,000+ will be recognized on a plaque to be placed permanently at Veselka.
