Wildlights Goes Virtual
This year would have been the 23rd annual Wildlights; however, because of COVID-19 & our local restrictions, Wildlights has been cancelled.
With the cancellation of Wildlights, the BCWP will lose over $250,000.00 in revenue. As a non-profit organization with an average monthly grocery bill of $10,000, the BCWP continues to rely on the income generated from Wildlights to assist us with offsetting the costs associated with feeding & caring for BC's wildlife. The BCWP operates the only full service wildlife rehabilitation centre in the Southern Interior, & is a member of the Burrowing Owl Conservation Society - the largest & most successful captive burrowing owl breeding program in the world. These two initiatives are entirely funded by Park admissions & donations.
Each year Wildlights continues to grow, & this year our team set up over 800,000 lights for you! Wildlights Goes Virtual is a 25 minute experience that includes a behind the scenes tour of how light displays are created, wildlife encounters, a virtual train ride, Uncle Chris the Clown, & a magical light tour. Cozy up, and enjoy!
