Northern Environment Action Team (NEAT) is a grassroots, not-for-profit organization.  Since 1989, NEAT has focused on increasing awareness of resource conservation, waste reduction and other urban environmental issues through educational programming, special events and other programs.  NEAT’s philosophy is that simple, practical actions will lead to significant reduction in our personal environmental impact.

NEAT has found that initiatives which promote change to a more environmentally responsible attitude are most effective when implemented at the community level and involve direct contact with people. NEAT believes that outreach programs will ultimately foster lifestyle changes in the community that will ensure the continuation of these positive actions and entrench them as accepted attitudes. 

NEAT is an award-winning organization and enjoys strong community support demonstrated by public participation and political support for its environmental educational initiatives.

We do what we can to promote a healthy, vibrant community whose members adopt environmentally sustainable actions in their daily lives.  

NEAT currently subsidizes 50% of all food and meal prep costs for the MOW program. Without further support we will be unable to purchase and create specialty holiday meals for our clients, so we're reaching out to you. 

We want to make the holidays special for all of our 40+ MOW Clients by providing a special meal through the holidays. 
We're talking turkey dinner with stuffing, potatoes, cranberry dip, and more.  
Your donation will go directly to helping make the holidays memorable for those less fortunate or unable to prep meals for themselves. 

Plus you or your company will be given the opportunity to help deliver meals to our clients throughout the surrounding area. You can help with food prep, packaging and get real insight into how the MOW program operates on a daily basis.
