The Community Foundation of Prince Edward Island is a charitable organization that focuses on enhancing the quality of life in the communities of Prince Edward Island.

It is a registered, non-profit body which provides a means for individuals, families, community groups, corporations, even private foundations, to support charitable activities and contribute to many diverse needs in Prince Edward Island communities.  As a registered charity, all qualifying donations are tax deductible.

For those who want to give something back to the community, the Community Foundation of Prince Edward Island links those who can with those who need.

The Dr. Rhonda Matters Memorial Fund has been established at the Community Foundation of PEI as a tribute to Dr. Rhonda Matters who passed away far too soon of lymphoma.

Rhonda was a child psychologist and had a passion for assisting children with mental health issues.  She touched the lives of so many youth and families through her work, but also through her personal life.

This memorial fund will help fund youth mental health initiatives to continue the legacy of Rhonda's passion throughout her career.
