The Foundation For Education is a charitable organization that enriches learning through workshops and experiences for youth in Huron and Perth County (Ontario, Canada).

It accomplishes this in several ways:

The Foundation, by raising and receiving funds, enhances the learning experience of students through a wide variety of activities such as the arts, life skills, literacy and science & technology.

It assists schools with fundraising campaigns and receipts donations to those campaigns.

It also continually strives to build community partnerships in order to provide youth ongoing mentoring opportunities.


The Foundation's major partner is the AVON MAITLAND DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD.

Financial insecurity is a daily reality for some Canadian families. An alarming 17 percent of children live in poverty. Students attend school with missed meals, inadequate clothing for the elements or the school supplies needed to go above and beyond their studies at home.

To help ensure our students have a barrier-free path to graduation, we have created the AMDSB Helping Hands Fund. Through this Fund, we will help our students attend school and achieve to the best of their ability.


L'insécurité financière est une réalité quotidienne pour certaines familles canadiennes. Un pourcentage alarmant de 17 % des enfants vivent dans la pauvreté. Les élèves vont à l'école avec des repas manqués, des vêtements inadéquats pour les éléments ou les fournitures scolaires nécessaires pour aller au-delà de leurs études à la maison.
