Conny Stamhuis to mark 90th Birthday by supporting Doctors Without Borders Canada / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)

To celebrate her landmark birthday, Conny Stamhuis have decided to support her favourite charity Doctors Without Borders Canada by pledging to raise $10,000 to help their efforts in providing emergency medical care where it is needed most.

This summer on July 16, Conny - a master swimmer, founding member of Okanagan Masters Swim Club, and a Central Okanagan Sports of Fame inductee - will be climbing into the waters of Okanagan Lake to complete 2022 Across the Lake Swim to beat her own past record to cover this distance of 2.1 kilometers, and to accomplish her fundraising goal of $10,000!
