The Single Parent Resource Centre is a registered non-profit society that has been committed to serving the varied and changing needs of single parent families in the Greater Victoria area since 1978. 

In a relaxed and supportive setting, the Centre offers a wide selection of programs and free services that assist custodial and non-custodial parents in meeting the needs of their families.

Our services include free individual counselling for single parents, and a comprehensive selection of life skills and parenting courses and support groups.

We also offer a volunter training program that readies volunteers to provide reception,individual support,and resource and referral information for the Centre and its clients.

Some of our free services for single parents include a clothing room, toy room & library, a bread pantry, and a "wish list".

Seasonal programs for single parents include an annual School Supplies Drive and Christmas Sponsorship Program.

A non-profit organization committed to providing practical support, opportunities for growth, and a sense of hope for one-parent families.

Christmas Giving Program - 2023 

With 2023 coming to an end need is high.   This year we are giving more opportunities to donors like yourself who want to make an impact in a families life during the holidays.

Consider donating:

$25.00 - This will provide the gift of one toy for a child

$40.00 - This will provide a gift card for one teen

$150.00 - This will provide one family with a grocery card

$200.00 - Christmas Party Sponsorship will provide 8 attendees with $25.00 gift card each.
