The Calgary Food Bank is a food distribution hub. We provide quality emergency food directly to Calgarians to meet their individual needs (prenatal, homeless, households with children, etc). We also collect food donations for distribution to other charities (including the Mustard Seed, the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary, the Salvation Army and women’s shelters).

Join us and be part of #The 50450, with Doug & Paul Lavoie. I will be turning 50 this year, a big milestone. Birthdays can be a moment for all of us to celebrate and reflect upon how we can be our best version; not only for ourselves, but also our community. So, Paul and I decided, sounds crazy; but to run 50 half-marathons in 50 weeks; the 50th run to be completed on my 50th birthday, September 24, 2023. As of Sept 7 2023, we have completed 48 half marathons. 

We are making our final 50th half-marathon, a WALK, here in Calgary and all are welcome! Three 7 km loops.
