The goal for the Centre is to provide a fully accessible location for Precious Minds' camps, programs, parent resources & workshops. We are a community facility for other agencies, associations and community groups to offer their programs. Currently Grandview’s Preschool Speech and Language Program and Autism Ontario – Durham Region house offices and therapy space at the Centre.
Programs Offered
• Children andYouth Programs – we offer a full range of after-school, summer and Saturday programs for children and youth. 
• Family Support Programs - Precious Minds holds monthly support group meetings for parents and professionals. The Parent Lounge and Resource Library are home to current and trusted research on related subjects. 
• Financial Assistance Programs - Precious Minds offers financial assistance to families to help with the unexpected costs of assessments, specialized equipment, therapies and tutoring.

Since 1999, Precious Minds has been supporting children, youth, and adults with developmental challenges in North Durham to meet their highest potential.  Rural North Durham is underserved in terms of programming for individuals with developmental disabilities. Social isolation is prevalent for both our participants and their families. The need is great for safe, inclusive, and adapted programs for our participants. In response to this need, Precious Minds offers affordable and meaningful programs designed to engage participants, create community, and develop skills for life. We provide individualized levels of support, and our programs explore a variety of educational, physical, recreational, and creative activities.  Along with inclusive programming, we provide support for the entire family including educational resources, respite, and family events.
