What LITE does:

Fundraise to support Community Economic Development (CED) through inner-city partners by:
- Providing grants to selected local non-profit initiatives who are working to establish sustainable employment.
- Purchasing goods for Christmas hampers from inner-city social enterprises.

Educate communities throughout the city about CED through workshops, presentations, sermons and public events.

Build communities by organizing events throughout the year to bring people and neighbourhoods together.  Join us for the Run for Rights in spring and the Wild Blueberry Pancake Breakfast in the fall to celebrate communities together!

For some, getting a job is like trying to win a race far behind the starting line. We all win when someone has the opportunity to catch up.
