Al Salam School Staff Sponsorship Campaign

As rent prices have soared tenfold in Turkey due to the economic crisis and the earthquake aftermath, steep inflation has brought new challenges to our mission. We have had to make significant adjustments to staff salaries. The value of the Turkish lira has decreased substantially (what used to be 7,000 Turkish liras is now 15,000) – a major effect considering the minimum wage in Turkey is around 13,000 liras.

Our staff members are pillars of our community. They work tirelessly to support their families and contribute a pivotal role in the success of Al Salam School and our organization as a whole. It has been difficult trying to balance these salary adjustments with our current budget, however our commitment to supporting our hardworking staff and students remains steadfast in these turbulent times.
