The Coquitlam Foundation attracts and manages charitable gifts of cash, bonds, shares, pledges, bequests, memorials and life insurance in the form of permanent endowments. The earnings on these endowment funds are used to return monies to local charities in the form of grants for initiatives to benefit local children, youth, seniors, arts & cultural, conservation and heritage projects of benefit to the residents of Coquitlam.

Dozens of residents have been displaced from their homes after a devastating fire swept through a rental apartment building located at Gatensbury Street and Austin Avenue in Coquitlam, B.C. The coordinated efforts of 68 firefighters from various jurisdictions managed to contain the blaze, with no serious injuries reported. However, approximately 100 residents are now in dire need of assistance.  Financial donations are now being accepted, directing funds directly towards the affected individuals, ensuring they receive the support necessary to rebuild their lives. Amidst uncertainty regarding the timeline for their return, these donations play a crucial role in offering immediate relief and hope for a brighter future.
