Join us in addressing the real challenges posed by inflation. Its consequences are especially pronounced for those already facing vulnerabilities. Consider the students in our program who must make impossible choices between pursuing their education and meeting their basic needs due to rising costs in all areas of life.

Previously, university education was accessible to Syrian students through out program at no cost. Now, with tuition fees reaching 130,000 Turkish lira (approximately 5,000 CAD) and everyday expenses becoming increasingly burdensome, many students do not have the means to continue their studies. This financial strain, coupled with persistently high unemployment rates since the devastating earthquakes in the region last February, has led to a growing number of dropouts.

Yet, amidst these challenges, there are stories of perseverance. Seven of our students recently graduated from our scholarship program, demonstrating their commitment and resilience. Currently, we have 20 students enrolled, but there are still over 100 deserving individuals on our waitlist.
