12beCAUSE - 12 months, 12 feats, 12 charities
The last 9 months of 2020 have been challenging to a lot of people for a lot of different reasons. I’ve had my fair share of challenges this year, but overall, I have been very fortunate, and I want to give back.
That’s why I am very excited to announce the launching of 12beCAUSE: 12 months, 12 feats, 12 charities. I will be doing my first feat in March 2021, 1 year since the covid-19 related lockdowns started here. Each month I will be doing some challenging feat to help raise awareness and money for charities. Why am I doing this? Because… now more than almost ever, it is important to give back and have as much positive impact as possible.

March: 50km walk for Breast Cancer Society of Canada
April: TBD
May: Traditional portage and paddle - Minwaashin Lodge
June: Will do 1 hour of continual jump rope for the Heart & Stroke Foundation
July: Will spend 4 hours underwater for WWF
August: Will do an Olympic Triathlon for War Child
September: Will do a marathon for Terry Fox Foundation
October: To be announced - CHEO Foundation
November: TBD - Movember Foundation
December: TBD - Will camp outside for 2 nights in support of the Sleep Out initiative from the Youth Services Bureau
January: 72-hour famine for Action Against Hunger
February: TBD but in support of Pink Shirt Day (CKNW Kids Fund)
