It's been a tough year (and a half!) for all of us, but especially for kids. Movement has played a key role in keeping me mentally and physically healthy this year...and more fitness is just an excuse to support a great cause that will help all kids have the best summer possible this year:
I'll be doing 500 burpees on August 1 with a goal to raise $3,000 for KidSport BC. All funds go directly to KidSport BC, and will provide financial support so ALL kids can play organized sports.
Sports can seem like a no brainer but there are a lot of hidden costs beyond registration, like equipment, transportation, extra childcare etc. It's not a given that all kids can take part. And it's so important! Sports teaches kids social skills, improves health, and shows them community.
Please give what you can So ALL Kids Can Play!
