Camp Quality Southern Ontario

19 years ago I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and it was the worst time ever. During that summer, I was given the opportunity that changed my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I was given the chance to go to camp with other children like me. From 2002 to 2008 I was a camper at Camp Quality which was a camp for children battling cancer. It is a one-one camper/companion experience that lets kids be kids again. Once my time as a camper was over, I changed roles and became a companion. It was an amazing experience seeing what I saw through the campers eyes. I did take some time off during my time as a companion but I came back in 2017 and haven't left. It was a great experience and I love the camper that I am with now! 

Camp Quality has had some fundraising difficulties in 2020 with Covid so this year for my birthday I am raising funds for Camp Quality so that kids can be kids again and have the experience that I had when I was growing up!
