Christie Lake Climb for Kids Kilimanjaro 2021 Challenge

Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page for our third Christie Lake Climb for Kids adventure!

This is a project designed to raise money for Christie Lake Kids, a wonderful organization that is transforming the lives of lower-income children in Ottawa, my home town. I am told that Christie Lake makes a significant and positive difference in the lives of children living in low-income communities.

Christie Lake Kids runs recreation and leadership programs throughout the year in communities throughout Ottawa and at Christie Lake Camp near Perth, Ontario.

For me, what is most important about Christie Lake Kids is their commitment to transforming the lives of children. Christie Lake Kids is committed to accompanying young people on their journey to a productive, happy life and I want all of you to become part of that journey!

Our team is taking part in a challenging climb to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro – elevation, 5895 metres or 19340 ft.  We will start our climb at the end of July, 2020. As we train for this climb, we are looking for donations to support Christie Lake Kids. Our goal this year is to raise $40,000 for CLK programs.
