What Kinds of Gifts Work?<\/h2>\n

Charitable gift ideas can be anything from physical items such as warm blankets, school supplies, or first-aid kits, to outcomes of donations such as the gift of a lifesaving medical treatment for a child in need. You can add gifts that are specifically for the holidays, but we suggest adding gifts that work all year round! We\u2019ll promote your gifts during Mother\u2019s Day, Father\u2019s Day, and more!<\/p>\n

How to Add a Charitable Gift to the CanadaHelps Gift Guide<\/h4>\n

      1. Sign into<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>your CanadaHelps account and click\u00a0My Charity<\/strong>\u00a0from the drop-down box at the top right-hand corner of the screen.<\/li>\n
      2. Click the Profile tab<\/strong> and then click Campaign Pages<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. Complete the fields on this page to create a new campaign.\u00a0\u00a0\"Create
        \n– Enter\u00a0the name of your charitable gift under the \u201cName\u201d field for English and\/or French (e.g. Emergency Treatment Kit).
        \n– Set the start date that you want your gift to appear in the Gift Guide.
        \n– Set the end date that you want your gift to be removed from the Gift Guide, or leave it blank.
        \n– If you have a goal amount, you can enter it here.
        \n– Select a fund or create a new one.
        \n– Select the language that you want your page to appear in.<\/li>\n
      4. After you click Create Campaign<\/strong>, you\u2019ll be directed to a page where you can select the value of your gift, add a photo, description and more. When filling out information about your gift on the following page, don’t forget to select the value of your gift from the Campaign Type<\/strong> drop-down menu.\u00a0<\/strong>\"Campaign<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
