To qualify to become a Giving Rock Star and be eligible to receive a $100 Charity Gift Card, donors must make at least one eligible one-time donation starting on November 27, 2018 at 12:01 a.m. Newfoundland Standard Time (NST) through November 27, 2018 at 23:59 Pacific Standard Time (PST) using CanadaHelps (the \u201cTime Period\u201d). Eligible one-time donations exclude monthly donations, charity events, donations of securities, API donations made through non-charity partners, and the purchase and redemption of Charity Gift Cards (\u201cEligible Donations\u201d). By donating, donors may receive a charitable tax credit to the extent allowed by the law.<\/p>\n
After the campaign has ended, CanadaHelps and Shopbrain (the \u201cSponsors\u201d) will select 10 (ten) donors with the largest cumulated donation amount for eligible donations (\u201cSelected Donors\u201d) during the Time Period. At the discretion of the Sponsors, selected donors will receive a $100 CanadaHelps Charity Gift Card (\u201cPrize\u201d). The Charity Gift Card must be redeemed on CanadaHelps.org and has no cash value. Selected donors will not receive a charitable tax receipt for the value of the prize when using it to make a donation.<\/p>\n
By accepting a prize, selected donors agree to Sponsor’s use of his\/her name, city\/province\/territory of residence, and statements, in any advertising and publicity Sponsor may conduct relating to the Contest in any media or format, without further compensation or notice.<\/p>\n
Selected donors will be contacted using the email address they used to make eligible donations and will have 5 business days to claim their prize. If a selected donor does not respond within 5 business days, the Sponsors reserve the right to award the prize to a new selected donor with the next largest cumulated donation of eligible donations.<\/p>\n
The Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, suspend or modify part or this Offer at any time without notice, for any reason at their sole discretion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
