Canadians Made June GREAT!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadahelps.org\/en\/givingchallenge\/\">Great Canadian Giving Challenge<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has had another GREAT year!<\/p>\n<p>For a fourth year in a row, CanadaHelps, along with our partners at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/giv3.ca\/english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>GIV3<\/strong><\/a>, challenged Canadians to give their favourite Canadian charity the chance to win a $10,000 donation from the Great Canadian Giving Challenge. How it works is simple. Every $1 donated on\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadahelps.org\/en\/\">CanadaHelps.org<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/givingchallenge.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GivingChallenge.ca\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>in June enters their chosen charity to win the $10,000 grand prize that is randomly drawn on July 1<sup>st<\/sup>, Canada Day!<\/p>\n<p>From coast to coast, Canadians gave generously making the 2018 Great Canadian Giving Challenge our best year yet! Charities across the country rose to the challenge all month long to encourage their supporters to donate. They launched special campaigns, sent emails, shared, and tweeted to compete. The competition was fierce!<\/p>\n<h2><strong>And The Winner Is\u2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>On Canada Day, we drew this year\u2019s winner and contacted them to share the exciting news. Congratulations to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadahelps.org\/en\/charities\/truth-for-teens\/\"><strong>Truth For Teens<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for winning the 2018 Great Canadian Giving Challenge!
