It takes just minutes to create a CanadaHelps Fundraising Page.\u00a0Set a fundraising goal, tell your fundraising story, choose one or many charities to support, share why the cause matters, and include images and videos to better connect with your supporters. The result is a high impact page that will inspire your friends and family to support you and the cause you love.<\/p>\n

Once created, your page is easy-to-find on CanadaHelps and you can easily share your page with your family and friends on social media, by email, and through word of mouth.<\/p>\n

2. Donations are protected. They go directly to your charity and reach your charity quickly!<\/h2>\n

Unlike many other crowdfunding platforms, we send your donations directly to your chosen charity, saving you time and giving your supporters the added assurance that the money they donate will go directly to the charity. Plus, donations are processed throughout your campaign, which means you don\u2019t have to wait until the end of your campaign or periodically withdraw the funds yourself. This means funds will be accessed sooner by the charity.<\/p>\n

3. Your supporters receive a charitable tax receipt instantly.<\/h2>\n

When you fundraise with CanadaHelps, your supporters will receive an instant charitable tax receipt within minutes of making their donation. That\u2019s not the case with most other crowdfunding platforms \u2013 most don\u2019t issue charitable tax receipts at all.<\/p>\n

Tax receipts mean charitable tax credits that can give money back to your supporters come tax time<\/a>! Choosing a platform that offers tax receipts can increase the number of people who donate and the size of the donation they make because of the added benefit.<\/p>\n
