\"Lemon<\/a><\/div>\n

Lemon Love Ride<\/h2>\n

Ryan Jones rode nearly 400 kilometres and climbed over 4000 metres in one day on August 7, 2014 in the name of\u00a0love.<\/p>\n

The LEMON\u00a0LOVE\u00a0RIDE\u00a0set out to raise funds and strengthen acknowledgement about the role of hospice care in our communities. This\u00a0ride\u00a0was in the name of Laurie Ann\u00a0Lemon\u00a0for the Langley Hospice Society. Laurie is the late Mother of Ryan’s new wife, Andrea. He never had the opportunity to meet Laurie since she was lost to Cancer in June of 2012 shortly before they met. She spent her final few months under the care of the Langley Hospice Society.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ryan wanted to give back to the family that had given him so much. Many fundraising efforts go towards research and some people, like Laurie, do not have the option to wait for their cure. His hope is to help Langley Hospice Society continue to provide their tremendous support programs that help people live in dignity while coping with grief and end of life.\u00a0The funds raised from the\u00a0LEMON\u00a0LOVE\u00a0RIDE\u00a0will help fund operations and expansion plans for not only those under their care, but for their families.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0LEMON\u00a0LOVE\u00a0RIDE has raised over $20k.<\/h2>\n
