ACTIVE WILDFIRES IN BRITISH COLUMBIA AS OF JULY 10
As of August 3rd, over 6,000 Canadians living in British Columbia remain displaced after being forced from their homes due to ongoing wildfires. On July 7th, a state of emergency was declared within the province of British Columbia as 138 new fires were sparked that same day. Lightning has been attributed as the cause of the wildfires which have been fueled by dry conditions and strong winds only making the situation worse.
