The Canadian Nonprofit Employer of Choice™ Awards are on the lookout for this year’s top employer in Canada’s non-for-profit sector—and your charity could be just what they are looking for.
Seeking charities with at least 10 full-time staff members, eligible charities must also be a registered Canadian charity active for at least a year, and maintain a physical presence in Canada.
Accepting submissions until November 14th, 2016, the award is presented in response to an average 18 month turnover rate in the non-profit sector for senior staff, and is presented to a charity who demonstrates “better business management practices ensuring successful mission achievement” and “exemplary talent management practices support[ing] successful mission delivery in the communities they serve”.
Sponsored by Hilborn:ECS, the Canadian Nonprofit Employer of Choice™ Awards originated in 2015 and named the following ten registered Canadian charities as last year’s winners:

- Community Living London
- Deafblind Ontario Services, Fresh Start Recovery Centre
- Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation
- Movember Foundation
- Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation,
- Plan International Canada
- Selections Career Support Services
- SOS Children’s Villages Canada
