Come view the 1925 silent film "The Phantom of the Opera," accompanied by live improvised sound track played by William O'Meara on our historic Casavant organ. This is an evening not to be missed by music lovers and film buffs alike!

Tickets are available at a variety of price points. Premium tickets are $40, Choice tickets are $30 and Value tickets are $20. A limited number of tickets are also available for $60, which includes a Champagne Reception beforehand, to meet our guest organist and get a close-up look at the Casavant. Wine and sparkling water will also be available for purchase before the show.

The Champagne Reception begins at 7:00 pm. Doors open for general seating at 7:30 pm with the show beginning at 8:00 pm sharp. 

William O'Meara is Canada's premier expert on organ improvisation with silent films. He plays all over Canada, and we are thrilled to have him play in Guelph. Sit in the soaring architecture of our historic church as you sip your drink, watch the film and feel the organ music reverberate around you. 

This event is sure to sell out – people are encouraged to purchase their tickets early!

St. George’s Church is one of Guelph’s original and oldest churches, founded in 1832 and in our current building on the banks of the Speed River since 1873. We are pleased to be located in Downtown Guelph and cherish the relationships we have built with businesses, organizations and residents. We have frequently been a venue for musical and cultural events, and serve a growing community.
