The Red Ribbon Rally is an event organized in the support of the AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia. All the money raised will support programs and services for the people living with and affected by AIDS/HIV.

Meet us on the Central Commons in front of the Pavilion at 10:30 am on September 30 to register, grab your T-shirt, enjoy a tasty BBQ and say hello to other Red Ribbon enthusiasts.

After we socialize, have fun and eat we will go straight to the Urban Roots Farm to draw a Red Ribbon in support of all the people who struggle with AIDS/HIV in their lives. We will take pictures, have fun and we will laugh.

The Red Ribbon Rally is a pledge fundraiser. T-shirts will be allocated to each participant with the proof of a minimum $25 donation or pledge.

Registration starts at 10:30 am and the Red Ribbon Rally at 2:00 pm. Bring your pledges in, register, grab a T-shirt, have a snack, have fun, laugh and then head towards the hill to draw with us a Red Ribbon in support of the people who live with AIDS/HIV.

À propos de cet organisme

The AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia (ACNS) is a not-for-profit charitable organization with a provincial mandate, and has a history that stretches back to 1984 with the formation of Nova Scotia’s first AIDS Service organization: originally called the Gay Health Association, then Metro Area Committee on AIDS, and then AIDS Nova Scotia. ACNS was formed in 1995 by the merger of that organization with the Nova Scotia Persons With AIDS Coalition. Originally through our parent organizations, and then through ACNS until the present day, we have offered support and navigation services for those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS; we do prevention work targeting high risk “priority populations”(using a population health approach); and we offer broader public education on HIV /AIDS issues across the province of Nova Scotia.
