Please join us at our 26th Annual Golf Tournament, June 13, 2016 (rain or shine), at the Oxford Golf & Country Club (Craigowan) to support our Programs and Services.

Lunch will be served before the 1:00 pm shotgun start. After lunch, play 18 holes of golf (scramble format) on the private Robbie Robinson-designed course that uses the subtleties of the natural landscape to offer up numerous intriguing holes. Simply the best course in Oxford County spread over 200 acres of land with a natural creek and two ponds; Craigowan is rated in the top 100 golf courses in Ontario.  Every golfer receives a gift as well as chances to win great prizes.

After a great game of golf enjoy a delicious dinner, opportunities to win prizes and learn how your support is making a difference in the lives of those with dementia.

This is a fun tournament and all levels of golfers are invited to join! We encourage company teams, individual golfers, groups of two, three and four to participate.

All proceeds remain in Oxford County. Over 2000 Oxford County residents are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.  Participating in the golf tournament is one way of helping us offer programs and services to those individuals, their families, friends and caregivers.

À propos de cet organisme

The Alzheimer Society of Oxford is a non-profit, charitable organization committed to supporting persons with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, and their caregivers and families. We provide information, education, and support to individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease, including two innovative programs for children and teenagers and one that provides education and support to the person in the early stage of Alzheimer's disease or other dementias and their primary family member. Education, through presentations, workshops and conferences, is also offered for professionals who work with persons affected by this disease. Our Volunteer Companion Program offers trained volunteers who provide companionship to the person with the disease along with respite to their family. Our programs and services are offered throughout Oxford County, with educational and support meetings taking place in Woodstock, Tillsonburg and Ingersoll.
