Aperçu

On Saturday, September 30th we are celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday and inviting the community to join us. Participate in our canoe relay and compete against individuals, businesses, and organizations and check off canoeing from your 150 PlayList. Lend your voice to the Community Conversation Lounge, browse the silent auction, stretch out in the Community Yoga sessions and much more!

Grab your friends, colleagues, or family and enjoy a fun day with us. Put on your craziest, and wackiest costumes for your chance to win one of the many great prizes.

Not a paddler? Don't worry, you can still join in the festivities. Be a spectator and enjoy the friendly competition and activities throughout the day. Please RSVP here.

Activities include:

  • Community Lounge - Participate in the interactive mural and tell us your thoughts on your community.
  • Community Flags - What does "community" mean to you? Create flags that reveal your "community".
  • Silent Auction - Browse through our selection of items from local businesses and individuals and help support your community.

And much more!

Proceeds will support Burnaby Community Services' various programs and resources to help individuals, families, and seniors break the cycles of poverty and isolation.
