Aperçu

The Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) provides free services for men, women and children affected by cancer.  As CAP is not in receipt of any government funding, it relies upon the generosity of the community, grants and proceeds from special events in order to deliver its valuable and free services. This family-friendly event is hoping to raise $15,000 this year, in order to support the ever-increasing demand for CAP's services.

Join us for this year's Cancer 10 Pin Bowl in support of the Cancer Assistance Program.

Register as an individual OR register a team (up to 6 people).

Prizes will be awarded for:

  • Most enthusuastic team
  • Team that raises the most funds
  • Best costume (male)
  • Best costume (female)

Date:  Saturday, September 30th, 2017

Location:  Skyway Lanes, 235 Melvin Avenue, Hamilton, ON   L8H 2J9

Registration and practice starts at 12:00 noon

Event kick-off at 1:00pm

Registration fees:

  • $10.00 per person OR
  • $50.00 for a team (up to 6 people)

The Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) is a community-based, not-for-profit organization offering free services for individuals and families affected by cancer, living in the greater region of Hamilton and surrounding communities. Services include transportation to and from cancer-related medical appointments, loans of home health equipment, limited access to parking at the local cancer centre and monthly issuances of adult incontinence products and oral nutritional supplements and the provision of wigs, alternative head coverings, mastectomy bras and breast prostheses. The Cancer Assistance Program is not in receipt of any government funding but instead relies upon the generosity of the community, grants and proceeds from special events. Also of note, the organization operates with four full-time equivalent staff and over 180 impressive, caring and compassionate volunteers.
