Meet world renowned cheetah expert and conservationist - Dr. Laurie Marker
Dr. Laurie Marker will share updates from Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) Namibia on the plight of the cheetah. Find out more about the impressive holistic conservation methods CCF has implemented and how CCF is leaving an imprint on this planet by saving the cheetah and its ecosystem.
In 2019, CCF is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Livestock Guarding Dog Program; this is a very successful program which has reduced livestock predation by over 80% as farmers with these dogs do not need to kill cheetahs.

Cheetah Conservation Fund Canada

À propos de cet organisme

We are a registered charity in Canada that has partnered directly with Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) in Namibia. CCF Namibia was founded in 1990 by Dr. Laurie Marker, a world-renowned conservationist and cheetah expert. In addition to being the first and longest-running organization dedicated to saving the cheetah, CCF has built a holistic organisation founded on research, conservation and community engagement and has demonstrated results. We selected CCF as a partner given their track record and their commitment to sharing best practices with other conservation organisations.
