À propos de cet organisme

Haiti in My Heart is a registered Canadian chairty. Our mission is to relieve poverty and provide opportunities for and access to education in Haiti. Our vision is a country where access to education is free, and children pursue opportunities for higher learning. Haiti in My Heart is dedicated to sustainable, long-lasting change. With 55% of the Haitian population under the age of 24, and 40% of the population unemployed, we believe education is key to eliminating devastating poverty. We currently support a school in Montrouis, Haiti - a small fishing village located on the west coast of Haiti. Our school is Remax Mixte Institute. We also provide for basic daily needs of our students, their families, and the surrounding community. It is our hope, in working with partner organizations, to foster a community where education is valued and accessible to all.
