À propos de cet organisme

The Haldimand-Norfolk Literacy Council has been providing Adult Educational services for 30 years. We specialize in Literacy Basic Skills, Numeracy, Digital skills and prepare our learners for one of the following five Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development mandated goal paths: Employment, Secondary School, Post-Secondary School, Apprenticeship or Independence. We serve over 100 learners annually and are 68% funded by Ontario's Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development. We rely, heavily, upon community partners and fundraising for the balance of funding required to fully serve the ever-growing needs of our community. We partner with many social service agencies to provide a fully supportive, wraparound experience that encourages success. With a focus on soft skills and self-management we are life-changers! One testimonial says it all..."Learning to Read is Magic!"
