Aperçu

The Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Foundation in conjunction with the Peterborough & Kawarthas Association of Realtors (PKAR) is proud to once again host their annual gift collection program - Santa's Sleigh. This will be the 28th year of this meaningful program designed to fulfill a Christmas wish for children receiving services from the Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Aid Society.

Détails

This year beginning at noon on Thursday, November 24th until 3 PM on Friday, December 16th at Walmart on Chemong Road, we are inviting the community to choose a child's name and make a purchase in order to fulfill their Christmas wish. This gift will go directly to that child in the community so that we can put a smile on this child's face on Christmas morning.

In addition, though our partnership with Corus Entertainment (The Wolf 101.5, CHEX TV, and 100.5 Fresh Radio we are also inviting the public to donate online so that we can purchase that special gift on a deserving child's wish list.

À propos de cet organisme

The Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Foundation provides funding so that children currently being assisted by the Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Aid Society receive positive experiences ranging from belonging to a sports team, to dance, art, and music lessons, and has the means to participate on special school trips. Each year we send hundreds of children to summer camp which gives them the opportunity to meet new friends, learn new skills and give them the confidence to pursue their goals. Every year the Foundation provides a $2,000 bursary to former Crown Wards attending college, university, and trade schools through our Margaret Davies Bursary Fund.
