Aperçu

The Plates & Glasses is a one-of-a-kind fundraising event happening on Saturday, April 22nd at the Fort Langley Community Hall, on Glover Road in Fort Langley, in support of the Langley Hospice Society.

This premier dining and libation pairing event for 125 guests will feature five courses prepared by Angie Quaale and the amazing chef's of Well Seasoned - a Gourmet Food Store, and served family-style at your table of 8.

Each course will feature fabulous food provided by local businesses and event sponsors, the Otter Co-op, Bonetti Meats, and the 1 Fish 2 Fish Fresh Seafood market, accompanied by a choice of pairings from BC based wineries, distilleries and craft breweries giving our special guests a fine selection of options to sip and savour, while enjoying the musical entertainment of classical guitarist, Matthew Silverman.

At the end of the evening, our volunteer shuttle drivers will ensure you have a ride home (within the Township & City of Langley boundaries) in one of the 15-passenger vans provided by the Driving Force Vehicle Rental location in North Langley.

Tickets are $160 each, two for $300, or a table of 8 for $1200 and are inclusive of the features noted above.

Proceeds of this event will support the Langley Hospice Society in continuing to deliver important palliative and bereavement care and support to the children, teens, adults and families they serve.

À propos de cet organisme

For more than 30 years, the Langley Hospice Society has been committed to providing quality palliative and bereavement care and support to our growing community, and with diverse but limited funding sources, we fundraise annually to be able to continue to offer this type of quality programming and to ensure these offerings remain free of charge children, teens, adults and families we serve. Since its incorporation in 1983, the Langley Hospice Society has always had a goal of a permanent, free-standing hospice residence to ensure access to quality palliative care and support for our growing community. The society is excited to be working in partnership with Fraser Health’s Palliative Care Team, to make a new hospice residence a reality, which would see Langley increase its much-needed bed count to 15 private rooms – an increase of five from what is currently available. Planning is well underway, and the Society’s hope is to secure full funding and break ground in 2017.
