Edmonton Education Day 2017 will be held at the Delta Hotels Edmonton Centre Suites and will feature a number of presentations and a panel session focused around various aspects of living well with lupus. Presenters will address such subjects as treatment options for lupus patients, mental health, nutrition and diet, recent advances in lupus research, gentle exercise for chronic illness, coping with lupus, and more.
Lupus patients are encouraged to invite their family members and friends to register for this event. It is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, meet new people, extend support systems, and get involved in our Alberta lupus community.
Attendees are also encouraged to dress in comfortable, casual layers. One of our presenters will be leading an active demonstration on gentle yoga exercises for chronic illness patients, and restrictive clothing may make participation difficult.
Please be advised that all of the presentations will be video recorded.
