We are a fun, welcoming community that gathers on Sunday morning to be nourished for the work of God in our world.
At Mayfair United we continue to teach important core values such as compassion, servant-hood, stewardship, gratitude, hospitality and love. We nurture these values through lively, thought provoking worship and our many gatherings and events. Maybe you have joined us on a Sunday morning, or for our Fall Supper or Dinner Theatre? Or maybe you have participated in carpet bowling, exercise, quilting, or needle arts groups, political gatherings, camera club, community cooking , music recitals, workshops, or...For 9 decades we have been a second home where our community gathers to share their talents, learn a new skill, seek justice, encourage democracy and celebrate what's important.
We love to say Yes ! 91 years and thousands of weddings, baptisms and memorial services later and we are still saying Yes! No strings attached, no membership required. We continue to give food to those in crisis, compassion to those in need of love, and a warm welcome to everyone who comes through our door. We enjoy partnerships with many non-profit organizations, using our space for concerts meetings or workshops. Red Cross Fire and Flood relief, Crisis Nursery, Women Walking Together, AIDS Saskatoon, and Str8Up, just to name just a few.
We continue to offer our space to 12 step programs, a Health Region Baby Clinic, Core Youth Neighborhood classes, Foster Parents and health support organizastions like the Ostomy society and Respiratos (those assisted by oxygen systems) . At Mayfair United we have created a safe space where people can bring their real authentic stories and have them honoured. At Mayfair United hope is found in community and in our common journey.
