Cycle Clear Lake 2020
Comité Central Mennonite (Manitoba)
Join us for a 34km single-track trail ride in beautiful Riding Mountain National Park in support of MCC Manitoba.
Every dollar raised will help feed hungry families in Nepal and proceeds may be matched up to four times thanks to a matching program with the Government of Canada.
Most of the trail is single track through the boreal forest along the lake shore with many fantastic vistas across the lake. Part of the trail is gravel and riders will traverse a shallow crossing between Clear Lake and South Lake. Along the north shore is an easier route for most cyclists as well as a technical route with several climbs for more experienced riders. The trail requires a reasonable amount of fitness and cycling experience.
Average cyclists can expect a 3 -4hour ride.
Registration is at 7:30 am on Saturday at Camp Kippechewin and the ride begins at 8:30 am with a BBQ lunch to follow. Camp Kippechewin is a group campsiteon the southwest side of the lake and riders are welcome to camp there on Friday and/or Saturday night.
Registration is limited, so register today! Complete & return your registration form with a $35 cheque ($70 perfamily) payable to “Cycle Clear Lake.” We will send you a sponsor sheet, map, and information.Registration deadline is July 2, 2019
