Aperçu

Montessori Jewish Day School first opened its doors in September 2000.

That’s 216 months

939 weeks

9467078 minutes

we’ve been Opening Minds and Hearts.

In that time, we have been privileged to work with hundreds of inspiring children who are now thriving members of the Jewish community and the world.

2018/19 marks our Chai Year and we couldn’t be more thrilled to know we have brought life and light into the community for over the past 18 wonderful years.

All parents, alumni and community members are invited to join us for this joyous occasion.

To kick off our year of celebration, a reception will be held at MJDS (55 Yeomans Road) on November 19, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Come celebrate with us and take a walk down memory lane.

The event will include light refreshments and an opportunity to say "L'chaim!" to 18 years of MJDS education.

The Chai celebration will take place following our co-sponsored Parent Talk at Beth David.  The talk, titled New Approaches to the Jewish Family, features one of our MJDS parents, Dr. Randal Schnoor as he discusses his new book, Jewish Family: Identity and Self-Formation at Home, which was co-authored with Alex Pomson. We welcome everyone to join us for both events. Registration for the Parent Talk can be done at www.bethdavid.com.
