Multiple Births Canada/Naissances Multiple Canada was originally formed in 1978. Federally incorporated in June of 1983 as POMBA Canada and subsequently restructured and federally incorporated as Multiple Births Canada in 2001, we remain, to this day, the only national support organization for multiple-birth families and individuals in Canada.
Multiple Births Canada's mission is to improve the quality of life for multiple- birth individuals and their families in Canada. We fulfill our mission by providing support, education, and outreach locally and nationally to individuals, families, affiliated Chapters, and other organizations that have a personal or professional interest in multiple birth issues.
1. To promote the health of twins, triplets and other multiple birth individuals and their families by developing and providing educational resources and programs for multiple birth individuals, their families, health providers and health organizations in Canada;
2. To undertake activities incidental and ancillary to the attainment of the above purposes.
