Information sur les billets
In a concert produced in partnership with Spectrum New Music, genre-defying composers rise up and make their own unique voices heard alongside a few classic jazz works.
A celebration of the wild, the different, and the outcast, featuring the music of Spectrum – a group of jazz-influenced composers crossing genres. Unleash your inhibition and let your uniqueness shine through, because in this concert, the rebel in all of us takes center stage. A juxtaposition of classical choir and improvising jazz trio provides the ultimate cross-genre platform to explore our desire to break free of the confines of convention. In a world bent on social revolution, can music show the length we are willing to go to define our own identities?
Chris Pruden, Piano
Andrew Downing, Bass/Cello
Aline Homzy, Violin
This concert is being presented by Spectrum Music in Toronto on Saturday, February 23rd at 7:30, at Gallery 345. Tickets purchased here will be honoured at both performances.
