Aperçu

Welcome to the 1st Annual Paws For a Cause in support of the Never Alone Foundation and our friends at Manitoba Underdogs Rescue.

Paws for a Cause was created to help fund the Day Away - Jerry's Gift program at the Never Alone Foundation in honour of Jerry Maslowsky.

Jerry Maslowsky was working at the Winnipeg Blue Bombers when Lyle Bauer started the Foundation in 2005. Jerry was instrumental in helping with many of the early events, and remained close to the Foundation over the years.

Jerry's Gift allows individuals, families, and caregivers affected by cancer the opportunity to experience a break from everyday life by attending a memorable event (theatre, sporting events, concerts, etc.). Jerry also loved animals, especially his grand-puppy Rue. Dogs have the ability to offer companionship and love like no other. Rue would sit with Dad for hours, never leaving his side during the final months of his cancer battle.
