À propos de cet organisme

Our Kids Count is a community development organization which builds stronger families and inclusive communities by enhancing people’s lives through personal growth and development. We work with individuals & families to promote the health and development of all children and youth who are overburdened and in financial need & we aim to provide relief and reduce the impact of poverty on individuals, children, youth, and their families. The programs we offer are based on needs identified by participants including mentoring, counselling, parenting workshops, home visits, outings, community kitchens, emergency food cupboard, outreach, and community breakfasts & dinners. The Big Brothers Big Sisters program delivers a one to one mentoring program which ensures that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential as an individual and as a citizen, and that by doing so they will not only do well, they will do good. “Go Girls” & in school mentoring are current BBBS programs.
