par PAL CANADA FOUNDATION
Over the past 150 years, Canadian artists have served as incredible ambassadors for our country. Some have become household names and reaped financial rewards while others have struggled to survive. The significance of all artists’ mark on Canadian culture deserves to be recognized and celebrated.
PAL Canada Foundation is looking to raise awareness of the outstanding contribution of Canadian artists to the cultural and social fabric of our nation. From now until October 1, 2017, PAL Canada will feature some of these past and present Canadian artists who have made a significant contribution to Canada, with a goal to highlight 150 artists in commemoration of Canada’s 150th birthday.
Stories about the nominees can be viewed on our Gallery of Artists page, where you can also vote for your favourite nominee. When nominations close on October 1, 2017, the artist with the most votes will be named PAL Canada Foundation’s Artist of the Year.
