Our Scholarships for Girls program aims to keep girls in school and increase their chance of success in life.
Funds to support each girl pays for the tutor, books, uniforms and food assistance.
Our Sewing Centre is a three - year program that teaches sewing and other life skills to girls, skills that will one day afford them a better life.
Funds to support the Sewing girls are used to build infrastructure, purchase supplies and expand the depth of our curriculum and staff.
“The Farmers of the Future”(FOF) program, the brainchild of Professor Dov Pasternak, recognizes that 80% of the population of Niger is subsistence farmers, growing barely enough rain-fed crops to feed themselves. FOF teaches women how to grow high-value crops year-round and market their produce.
Funds raised will help us build a Horticultural Training Centre, to meet the growing need for trained technicians to teach the women.
