This annual event was launched in 2001 by an American man who wanted to rally support among other men to stop violence against women. Called ‘The International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault and Gender Violence', the event has spread to communities across North America, including Perth County.

The annual local event is an awareness-builder, a fundraiser walk, prizes to be won and a day of fun activities for children. Males of all ages participate to show their support and take the opportunity to educate the community about violence against women. They rally everyone to take action to prevent it.
