Join us for an evening of musical inspiration!

Both visiting Karen musicians and local music groups will perform inspirational songs that remind us of the power of togetherness and the importance of sharing our perspectives with people from all corners of the world. Come to learn, sing, get energized, and feel a united sense of hopefulness.

This is Project Umbrella Burma's first music concert. With your support, we hope to make it a tradition!

Project Umbrella Burma sends 98% of donations we receive directly to the Thai-Burma border. All proceeds of this event will go to support Kaw Tha Blay Learning Centre.

Drop in between 3 pm and 6 pm to enjoy a meal together. We'll be serving fried rice, Pad Thai, spring rolls, salads, and soup. Informal buffet-style dinner will include vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Bring your appetite!

The concert will kick off at 6:30 pm.

Please call or email us with any questions, or talk to your favourite Project Umbrella Burma board member about reserving or purchasing tickets in person.

Ticket purchases are not eligible for charitable tax receipts. Additional donations are gratefully accepted and will be issued a charitable tax receipt.

À propos de cet organisme

Project Umbrella Burma provides direct aid to enable education and medical training for young people on the Myanmar-Thailand border. We support visiting volunteer teachers and work to create understanding between people from Canada and Myanmar. We envision a reality where young people from Myanmar can access opportunities to build capacity for their future, develop skills to bring back to their community, and make connections with people from other parts of the world.
