Formed in 2007 by a group of Rotarian's who wanted to see children in need access necessary sports equipment which would allow them to participate in the sport of their choice.

The Society collects used sports and recreational equipment that could be refurbished and repaired and then redistributed to underprivileged youth recognized by referral organizations throughout our local communities.

This in turn would give these children a sense of community and ensure their choices are positive ones through sports and other recreational activities.

Now our many generous donations of used equipment and volunteer repair time by Surrey and its surrounding residents help make us one of BC's most cost effective charities.

The R.E.C. for Kids Society is a non-profit organization under the B.C. Society Act that has registered charitable status. Registered with the Canada Revenue Agency for tax purposes.
