We “walk alongside” the community, providing a safe haven, solace, meals and community activities. We offer programs that reach out to isolated women and seniors, drawing them into the larger community for health and wellness programming. We also offer capacity building workshops working with Public Health on training in food handling, conflict management, CPR, First Aid Certification and various other health and wellness initiatives. For many in our Flemingdon Park community, we are the threshold to a new, better life.

In addition to settlement, health and wellness programs, we sponsor a community garden, community kitchen, cooking and nutrition classes. We offer the "Giving Store", where families can shop with dignity, at no cost, during special times of the year. Flemingdon Park Ministry walks alongside the Flemingdon Community Food Bank and serves 1,800 individuals every month.

In 2017, FPM will grow existing programs to reach more residents, develop a food market and continue planning  to develop a neighbourhood food co-op.

Join us for an evening of music, good food, silent auction and story telling.

Tickets are $50 (a $25 tax donation receipt provided).

Tickets available by contacting the ministry office.

FPM is a grassroots, non-profit, registered charity that fills an important gap in service delivery in Flemingdon Park. More than 20,000 residents came through our doors in 2016. FPM offers a safe and welcoming space to refugees, immigrants and others new to the community. Some of the residents who visit us are families and persons struggling with poverty, mental health and addiction issues.   Our Mission: To Build Strong Partnerships and Transformed Lives
