This workshop will help justice, health, education, child welfare, and community-based workers to better understand violence and trauma, and develop practical strategies for providing the support and services people identify are needed.

• MEN'S UNIQUE EXPERIENCES OF GENDER, VIOLENCE AND TRAUMA

• STRENGTHS-BASED PRACTICES HONORING PERSONAL AGENCY, KNOWLEDGE OF VIOLENCE, AND SKILL AT RESPONDING TO VIOLENCE

• ENHANCED COMPETENCE AT ADDRESSING SYSTEMS REPLICATIONS OF INTERPERSONAL AND STRUCTURAL VIOLENCE

• ATTENTION TO THE DISCOURSE ON WORKER "VICARIOUS TRAUMA”

• ENHANCED COLLABORATION WITH THE PEOPLE WE SERVE, AND WITH EACH OTHER AS WORKERS, THROUGH RESPONDING TOGETHER WITH REINVIGORATING "COLLABORATIVE INTELLIGENCE"

• INCREASED SKILL AT CASE MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATING INTERVENTION WITH EARLY INTERVENTION, PREVENTION, AND HEALTH PROMOTION
