"Storm the Stairs" is the most unique fitness challenge (or friendly fitness walk) in BC! Storm the Stairs was started in 2015 by the United Way of Trail and District as friendly fundraising event for those individuals looking for a healthy physical challenge. The course features two routes The Express (4 km) & The Grande (we are presently updating this route, more information to come over the next few months) each route features 18 covered stairs cases (approx. 1495 total steps) . While enjoying this challenge, runners and walkers alike see some of the most scenic views of the Columbia River and Rock Walls of historic West Trail.

Storm the Stairs hopes to attract a diverse group of participants, from youth 14 up to adults in their 70’s, and people of many different fitness and ability levels. The money raised from this event will go to the United Way of Trail and District Annual Campaign fund for reinvestment to the many organizations supporting the physical, mental and social well-being our the communities we serve.

Run Day Registration - available from 8 am to 8:45 am

All participants must check-in with signed waiver (if not already submitted) by 8:45 am. Download wavier here.

Awards & Prizes Scheduled for 11 am

Awards will be given to the Top Fundraisers in the following groups: Top Adult, Top Youth, Top Team Adult and Top Team Youth

Random Prizes will be drawn during the award presentations, winners must be present to receive their prize. (Please return your Run Number to ensured entry in prize draw.)

Registration & Pledging:

Adult: 19 and up $50.00

Youth: 14 to 18 $25.00

Team Challenge:

Adult $45.00 per person

Youth $20.00 per person

Teams can be a minimum of 3 persons with a maximum of 5 persons. Teams are encouraged to dress alike (for business' t-shirts with company logo, just a group of friends please be creative but safe).

We encourage all participants to collect pledges, above a minimum pledge amount equal to your registration fee. There will be awards for the Top Individuals and Teams fundraisers in each category.
